Electromagnetic radiation during pregnancy

Pregnancy is a time full of anticipation and excitement for many parents-to-be, but it is also often associated with worries and fears. Unborn life is very sensitive and requires special health and life protection and there are also many uncertainties regarding non-ionising radiation.

The development of the embryo from a single cell into a new-born baby with billions of new, healthy cells is a highly sensitive phase that must not be disturbed. However, electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones and other mobile communication devices can lead to disturbances in cell maturation and in the development of the baby and growing child.

Electromagnetic radiation not only hits the skin, but penetrates layers of skin, muscles and sometimes even bones. They have a deep effect in the body and can also reach deep-lying nerve pathways in the brain and heart. In connection with this, scientists fear that babies in a mother’s womb will also be affected.

The dangers are that the only protection an unborn baby has from external influences is the mothers womb during pregnancy. Their bones, which offer the best protection, are not yet present or insufficiently developed. During pregnancy, electromagnetic radiation can therefore interfere almost unhindered with the baby’s biological processes. The diversity of effects is difficult to assess, especially since not every organism reacts identically.

Support your child’s healthy development with an electromagnetic radiation free environment.

Be careful when using mobile phone technologies. Your child’s health is at stake. Give your child the opportunity to develop and grow in a protected environment, free of electromagnetic radiation.

In this way, you sustainably reduce the risk of developmental disorders and behavioural problems in your baby, your child and do something good for your health

Here are a few tips

  1. Bad reception is worse

Why? Because your mobile phone tries particularly hard to send or receive information when reception is poor, and electromagnetic radiation is therefore much higher than with good reception. This is the case, for example, in a car, on the train, in the lift, in the forest or in the cellar. So, put your mobile phone away and enjoy the short break.

  1. Keep your mobile phone at a distance

When talking on the phone, keep a safe distance from the mobile phone and do not hold it directly to your head. It is best to use headphones with air conduction technology, or loudspeakers. By the way, electromagnetic radiation is at its highest when you are making a call. Therefore, always pay special attention to the distance between the body and the mobile phone.

  1. No sources of electromagnetic radiation in the children’s room

All electronic devices should be kept or placed as far away as possible from the children. Do not place baby monitors, Wi-Fi routers, alarm clocks, etc. near the children’s room or living area. In addition, there should generally be no sources of electromagnetic radiation in the pram or in the child’s bedroom.

  1. With cable is better than without

Use a cable whenever possible. Why? Because less electromagnetic radiation is released with a cable than with a Wi-Fi connection. It is therefore best to connect your laptop or computer to the internet via a cable and, if possible, use headphones with air conduction technology instead of Bluetooth when making phone calls.

  1. Distance from the foetus

Do not place any electronic devices in the immediate vicinity of the womb, as the growing child is particularly sensitive to electromagnetic radiation. Therefore, under no circumstances place a laptop or tablet on the belly or legs, and do not put the mobile phone in the trouser pocket. Keep the mobile phone as far away as possible, such as in a handbag.

  1. Distance from the baby

Electronic devices are not for playing with. Instead, they should be kept as far away from children as possible. Similarly, Instagram, WhatsApp and FaceTime should not be used right next to the new-born.

  1. Minimise data connections

It is best to turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections when you are on the road. The number of apps on your mobile phone should be reduced, and background services should be deactivated. If necessary, mails and messages can be loaded manually.

  1. Switch off mobile phones at night

At night, set the mobile phone to flight mode or better turn it off completely and place it far away from the body. Also turn off the laptop, tablet, and internet connections. Ban all electronic devices from the bedroom.

Pregnancy belly band against high-frequency electromagnetic radiation

Although many things can be done to keep places where we spend time, such as our homes, workplaces, and public buildings, to be free of electromagnetic radiation, it is unfortunately no longer possible to avoid the electromagnetic radiation fields in the near future, due to the coming new 5G networks.

Therefore, protect your baby from high-frequency electromagnetic radiation during pregnancy with either MommySafe or BabySafe. Your growing child will thank you.
